Bean Breeding

2BHealthyGB was launched in 2011 at the University of Warwick's Crop Centre (previously the National Vegetable Research Station).  However, its history dates back to the 1970-80s when public investment from the UK Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries (now DEFRA) supported agronomy research and breeding of common bean varieties for UK farmers.
